A breakthrough weekend across 10U, 12U, and 8th Grade divisions
This weekend marked a defining moment for United Skills Academy as our program officially stepped into the national spotlight. Across 10U, 12U, and 8th Grade, our athletes showcased grit, discipline, and a rising standard of excellence that reflects the future of who we are becoming.
United Skills Academy didn’t just attend a national circuit. We arrived.
And we proved that we belong.
10U — A Foundation is Born
Our 10U athletes stepped onto the Made Hoops circuit for the first time and held their own with courage, effort, and resilience. They learned, they grew, and they began to understand the pace and intensity of national-level basketball.
This was the beginning of their story.

Theodore Underwood — confidence, developing decision-making, and steady effort
William Wilson — high energy, focus, and willingness to battle on both ends
Luke Deering — emerging guard skills and dependable play under pressure

Luke Larson — offensive instincts and natural athleticism
Luke Olich — smart playmaking and tough defense
Landon Clatanoff — grit, active hands, and all-around determination
This group displayed promise, toughness, and a true foundation for future success.

12U — United Skills Academy Shocks Nike-Sponsored Oakland Soldiers in Overtime

The highlight of the weekend came when our 12U squad delivered a stunning overtime victory over the Nike-sponsored Oakland Soldiers — a nationally respected organization with a legacy of excellence.
This was a character-defining win built on belief, execution, and heart.
12U Standouts
Trenton Lowe — elite composure, leadership, and clutch shot-making
Drue Butler — relentless defense and major momentum-shifting plays
Corbett Worthington — toughness and energy that elevated the team
Caleb Olich — powerful finishes, rebounds, and winning plays
Marc Garcia — delivered the dramatic game-winning shot
Crew Worthington — steady presence, smart decisions, and timely contributions
Thank you to 12U Coaches Phil Lowe and David Butler for their preparation, passion, and championship mindset. Their leadership was instrumental in this team’s breakthrough moment.
This victory was more than an upset. It was a national announcement.
8th Grade — A 3–1 Weekend Fueled by a Complete Roster Effort

The 8th Grade team showed why they are quickly becoming one of the premier rising programs in the country. A strong 3–1 weekend positioned them firmly in the conversation for the National Championship chase.
Led by the dominant interior presence of Logan Pepper, the team played with maturity, pace, and unity all weekend.
