At the Arizona Holiday Prep Classic, one name kept echoing through the gym louder with every possession: Brandon Bay.
Bay didn’t just show up — he stood on business.
The fiery, athletic guard put together a statement weekend built on toughness, confidence, and an unshakable competitive edge. Whether creating his own shot, knocking down the three, or defending with grit, Bay played with a purpose that separated him from the pack.
He opened the tournament with 19 points against AZ Flight, nearly willing his squad to victory in a tightly contested 48–44 battle. The performance set the tone: fearless drives, timely shooting, and relentless energy.
In the second game, Bay turned it up another notch, pouring in 19 points in a dominant 70–22 win over Valley Rise, showcasing his ability to control the game on both ends of the floor.
The semifinals brought another challenge — AZ Unity — and once again Bay answered. He delivered 18 points in a hard-fought 47–40 win, making big plays when the game tightened and proving he thrives under pressure.
By the time the championship tipped off against state champions United Skills Academy, Bay had already cemented his weekend. Still, he wasn’t done. Against one of Arizona’s top programs, he finished with 15 points, battling possession by possession and competing to the final whistle.
The stat lines tell part of the story. The rest shows up in the intangibles: his fire, his grit, and his refusal to back down.
Brandon Bay didn’t just have a good tournament.
He made a statement.
And if you didn’t know before —now you know.
