PHOENIX, AZ — The basketball court at Phoenix Christian were electric this past weekend as Ace Elite and Tipping Point Academy tipped off the highly anticipated Phoenix Shootout showcase. Launched by Arizona AAU, the event delivered on its promise to spotlight the state's most promising young talent.


"This is exactly why we created this platform," said Strickling, surveying the action. "These kids aren't just playing basketball—they're demonstrating the future of the game in Arizona."

The matchup featured a thrilling duel between Ace Elite's precision offense and Tipping Point's relentless defense:

Ace Elite's Backcourt Brilliance

  • Adam Myhre (7th Grade): The left-handed floor general orchestrated the offense with veteran poise, slicing through defenses with an array of floaters and no-look passes

  • Jack Van Klaveren (7th Grade): Defied his age with elite court vision, threading needle passes through traffic
